The Horns were 0-11 in true road games last season. VCU is currently riding a streak of 104 straight sellouts. … This is also a homecoming of sorts for Matt Coleman, who is from Norfolk, Va. About the Rams: Coach Mike Rhoades’ club was picked fourth in the preseason Atlantic 10 poll. VCU has already lost to Virginia and Michigan but beat California. … VCU is coming off a sizzling 82-75 win over Old Dominion on Saturday, a game that marked the school’s 104th consecutive sellout. Justin Tillman poured in a career-high 28 points, including 21 in the second half. He was 10 for 13 overall and 4 for 5 from 3-point range. … Rhoades is fully aware of the Horns. He was the head coach at Rice the last three seasons, compiling a 47-52 record before going back to VCU. He was Shaka Smart’s assistant for five seasons.
