D’Onta Foreman surgery goes well; status for Texas Tech uncertain

Posted November 19th, 2015

Texas running back D’Onta Foreman underwent successful surgery on his right pinkie finger on Thursday. However, his status for the Thanksgiving game against Texas Tech is uncertain, a source close to Foreman said.

Foreman’s playing status won’t be fully determined until team doctors see how he’s feeling after the weekend.

Foreman currently leads the Longhorns with 681 rushing yards. He’s also scored five touchdowns and has runs of 81, 93 and 65 yards so far this season. The sophomore has rushed for more than 100 yards in four of the last six games.
