Golden: D’Onta Foreman will quickly become a fan favorite in Houston

Posted May 2nd, 2017

In this week’s Golden’s Nuggets, Ced touches on a Bevo-related item. Here is his take:

Nice landing spot for D’Onta Foreman. I thought Green Bay or Seattle would draft the Texas running back, but Houston is a great situation. Foreman will be the perfect power complement to starter Lamar Miller. Today’s NFL is no longer a one-man operation at running back and since committees are all the rage, Foreman — a hammer with plenty of explosiveness in his 233-pound body — will quickly become a fan favorite just as long as improves his ball security. … The future is bright all of a sudden with Foreman and quarterback Deshaun Watson entering the fold. I expect Watson to eventually replace injury-prone Tom Savage as the starter.
