North Mesquite offensive tackle Jean Delance is ranked highest among Texas’ commitments in the American-Statesman’s latest Fabulous 55 of the state’s top senior players.

Delance, the headliner so far in Texas’ 13-player class, checks in at No. 13. Three other Longhorns commits cracked the list — Arlington Lamar quarterback Shane Buechele (15), Manvel receiver Reggie Hemphill-Mapps (43) and Lewisville guard Denzel Okafor (48).

Allen offensive tackle Gregory Little is No. 1, just as he was in the initial rankings released last spring. Little, who was committed to Texas A&M at that time, is now ticketed for Ole Miss.
