Here’s a sample of some popular ones. They have been edited for space and clarity.

Sherry J Duncan: Look, everybody is saying, “Yeah, sure, but it’s only San Jose State” and “Wait ’til USC, Oklahoma, etc.” We have had a very disappointing last few years. We can’t go from dismal to dynasty (again) in 1 or 2 or 3 games. WE ARE REBUILDING and just like others we gotta go through the growing ups and downs.

Mary Wood: Refreshing for sure. Still a lot of things to work on. I hope Sam (Ehlinger) gets more playing time after working with the offense some more. O-line played way better.

Moses Duarte Jr.: A lot of teams can do that to San Jose state. I’ll start getting excited when they can put up 56 against Oklahoma or USC. Still a win though. #HOOKEM

Louie Betancourt: Penalties were cut in half compared to last week and defense wasn’t arm tackling. Last weeks grade was an F this weeks grade a B-! Good job fellas. Got the first W of the season now let’s celebrate for 24 hours and get ready for USC.

Carlos Zamora: Glad they won but anyone can beat San Jose State. My old high school team could beat them. Let’s see what they do in conference play.

Darlene Campbell: Chris Warren played a huge role in this. Also Jerrod (Heard) got this party started. I felt like the team pulled together and the teamwork, spirit and energy were “aligned.”
