Jerrod Heard throws interception as Longhorns trail Iowa State
Posted October 31st, 2015
For the first time since Texas faced TCU, the Longhorns turned the ball over.
Freshmen quarterback Jerrod Heard’s pass was intercepted while he was scrambling towards the sideline on a third down in the second quarter. Texas continues to struggle with getting the ball down field, playing both Heard and the “18-wheeler” Tyrone Swoopes.
Iowa State leads 7-0 late in the second quarter.
That's the first turnover since the TCU game. No Texas turnovers in the wins over OU and K-State.

Heard doesn't have it. If I'm Charlie Strong, I go with Swoopes. He seems to has more juice tonight. Horns moved it when he was in there.

Iowa State will take over on their own 32 yard line after the interception #Longhorns
