Texas guard Isaiah Taylor was named the Big 12 player of the week for averaging 23 points in two wins that kept the Longhorns afloat in the league standings.
After the game, Taylor was asked about his late-game free throw shooting. “I’m a confident dude, he said.”
Taylor also had a career-high 35 points against Texas Tech in the Big 12 opener. The junior leads the Horns in scoring (17.2), assists (4.8) and minutes (30.4).
