Fresh off coaching the USA U-18 team to the FIBA Americas gold medal, Texas head basketball coach Shaka Smart joins Kirk Bohls and Cedric Golden for Episode 23 of On Second Thought to discuss his offseason experience, the heartbreak of the Northern Iowa loss in the NCAAs, and how he will replace point guard Isaiah Taylor and his starting front line in 2017.

Kirk and Ced also discuss Charlie Strong’s great quarterback mystery, the injury front leading up to the opener against Notre Dame, Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, and the Ryan Lochte saga.
