Five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson of Bellaire Episcopal will visit Texas on Tuesday, his mother confirmed to the American-Statesman.
Wilson, the nation’s top-ranked defensive tackle and No. 4 overall prospect, will make the trip with his teammate, four-star offensive tackle Walker Little. They are the state’s No. 1 (Wilson) and No. 21 (Little) prospects in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports’ composite ratings.
Wilson has previously told the Statesman that he’d like to narrow his list of schools to 10 by the end of summer and then trim it to five after the upcoming season. He’d like to announce his decision on signing day.
Thus far, Texas has commitments from five prospects in a class that sits at No. 18 nationally. Recently, linebacker Dylan Moses, the nation’s No. 2 player, visited Texas and declared the Longhorns his favorite.
