One of the defensive ends on Texas’ recruiting board picked Arkansas on Sunday afternoon. Courtre Alexander, a 3-star defensive end from Oklahoma, took an official visit to Texas on Dec. 8 and was offered by the Longhorns on Dec. 17. He received an offer from Arkansas the next day.

Alexander took an official visit to Arkansas over the weekend and announced his pledge to Chad Morris’ program on Twitter. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect became less of a priority for the Texas staff when recent commit Daniel Carson started trending towards the Longhorns.
