NOV. 14: AT WEST VIRGINIA

Mountaineer Field, Morgantown, W.Va.

If not for West Virginia, Texas would have gone Charlie Strong’s entire first season without a win over a Top 25 opponent. The Longhorns were dialed in that afternoon, taking a 24-3 lead into halftime and winning 33-16. Strong ended up body surfing on his players in the locker room. Johnathan Gray ran for 101 yards, and Malcolm Brown added 90.
