TCU 30, Texas 7 — In a word: pathetic. Texas allowed four passing touchdowns and a safety on Kyle Ashby’s deep snap out of the end zone. As feared, the secondary couldn’t handle Josh Docston who jumped over good coverage by Holton Hill to pull in one of his two TD catches. Offensively, Texas lost its best play-maker on the opening drive when Daje Johnson got twisted up and was taken into the locker room with a head injury. He did not return.
