Emilee Hoffman sits in eighth at World University Games

Emilee Hoffman improved on her round once again, shooting one-under-par 71 at the World University Games in Taipei City, Taiwan Saturday.
Hoffman had the fifth-best round of the day and moved her into eighth place overall with a total of 218. The sophomore shot 72 on Friday following a 75 on Thursday.
The United States has led the entire tournament. Team USA has a total of 421 to lead Chinese Taipei by three strokes.
Sunday’s final round will determine the winners of individual and team competition.
As a freshman, Hoffman made the Big 12 All-Tournament team. Her season ended with eight top-25 finishes, highlighted by a win at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greensville, S.C.
