The UT men’s tennis team had three players advance at the ITA National Fall Championships in Indian Wells, Calif. Wednesday.
Harrison Scott was the only Longhorn to qualify for the second round of the singles draw. He came back to defeat Jack Molloy of California 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. Scott will face Thomas Laurent of Oregon in the second round.
Rodrigo Banzer and Leonardo Telles teamed up to top Runhao Hua and Alex Knight of Michigan 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (11-9). The duo will take on the team from NC State on Thursday in the round of 16.
Telles fell in the singles draw to Nuno Borges of Mississippi State 7-5, 6-1.
