Texas notches second-place finishes at USA Winter National Championships

Grayson Campbell and Jordan Windle finished in the top-three of the one-meter diving event at the USA Winter National Championships in Greensboro, N.C. Wednesday. Alison Gibson also notched a second-place finish at the event.

Campbell took second place with 688.20 points while Windle finished third with 661.90 points.

Jacob Cornish also qualified for the eight-man final and ended up finishing seventh with 574.50 points.


On the women’s side, Gibson took second place in the one-meter final. She scored 470.75 points to finish behind Meme Sharp by six points.

Meghan O’Brien took eighth place with 412.05 points.

Competition at the USA Diving Winter National Championships continues Thursday. The men will compete in the three-meter event while the women take on the platform.
