The Dotted Line: Commitment Q&A with Temple quarterback, future Texas tight end Jared Wiley

Posted July 12th, 2018

Jared Wiley at home as Texas commit

Texas wanted a pair of tight ends in the 2019 class after signing just Malcolm Epps at the position in 2018. The Longhorns identified Jared Wiley, a 6-6, 225-pound quarterback at Temple, as the perfect compliment to four-star Brayden Liebrock (Ariz.). Wiley showed potential at tight end as a junior. He’ll move back to quarterback as a senior to lead his program. It’s that type of selflessness that endears him to teammates and to the Texas staff.
