The Dotted Line: Six Texas commits set for action over next three days

Posted August 23rd, 2018

Six of the 15 prospects committed to Texas in the 2019 class are playing games this weekend. The in-state commits, and Oklahoma-native Demariyon Houston, won’t start the season until the final weekend of August. Four of the commits in action this week began the season on Aug. 17 with the pledges finishing the week with a 3-1 record. Jake Smith, a four-star wide receiver from Notre Dame Prep in Arizona, led all commitments with five touchdowns.

It was a tough loss for Arizona’s No. 1-ranked team.
