TV details to be announced but Big 12 establishes a start time for Texas’ home game against Baylor

Next week, Texas will welcome Baylor onto Bevo Boulevard for a mid-afternoon meeting.

The Big 12 Conference announced on Monday that Texas and Baylor will play at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 13. The game will be held at Royal-Memorial Stadium. ABC, ESPN or ESPN 2 will televise the battle between the Longhorns and Bears.

Ranked 19th in the AP poll, Texas (4-1; 2-0) is set to battle No. 7 Oklahoma (5-0; 2-0) in Dallas this weekend. Baylor (3-2; 1-1), meanwhile, will host Kansas State (2-3; 0-2).


Texas owns a 77-26-4 record in its all-time series with the Bears. Last year, the Longhorns earned a 38-7 win in Waco.
