Longhorns are 2-0 in Big 12 play after 6-1 victory over Cyclones.

The sixth-ranked Texas women’s tennis team improved to 2-0 in Big 12 dual matches with a 6-1 win over 48th-ranked Iowa State on Sunday.
The Longhorns improved to 11-3 overall and dropped the Cyclones to 9-5 and 1-2.
Twins Anna and Bianca Turati, the 29th-ranked duo in the nation, clinched the doubles point for Texas with a 6-1 win over Maty Cancini and Ting-Pei Chang after teammates Adri Nagy and Tijana Spasojevic, ranked 80th, topped Chie Kezuka and Margarita Timakova 6-2.
Anna Turati, the nation’s No. 4 singles player, also clinched the victory over the Cyclones by beating No. 119 Thasaporn Naklo 6-1, 6-1. Sister Bianca, ranked 14th, coasted past Cancini 6-0, 6-2.
The other UT singles winners were Fernanda Labraña, who defeated Christin Hsieh 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-5); Nagy, who topped Chang 6-3, 6-2; and Marta Perez Mur, who beat Timakova 6-1, 6-1.
Next up for the Longhorns will be the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., this weekend. They will play Yale on Saturday and Central Florida on Sunday.
