Texas’ 2020 class grew to two members on Sunday night when 2020 four-star Logan Parr pledged to the Longhorns over two dozen other offers. The 6-3, 270-pounder is from San Antonio O’Connor. He plays offensive tackle in high school, but he likely transitions inside in college. He joins Lake Travis quarterback Hudson Card as that cycle’s only UT commitments.

At what age did you fall in love with football?

I fell in love with football as early as I can remember. When I lived in Maryland, although I was a Cowboys fan, my family and I would go watch the Baltimore Ravens’ training camp in the town I grew up in I loved seeing the players hit each other then, and I believe this was where I truly first fell in love with football.

What made Texas your choice?

I chose Texas due to my relationship with the coaches, the school itself, the location, and the fan atmosphere.

Where do you want to improve most before you step on campus?

My goals are to get stronger and faster, as well as work on my technique to make myself technically sound.

What was most important to you as a recruit?

The most important thing to me was the relationships with the coaches. Every school in the nation has great facilities and fan bases. It’s the people at the place that make the experience the best it possibly can be.

What word would you use to describe Tom Herman?

Passionate.

Where do you see yourself playing at Texas?

Guard or center.

What artist would you most like to see live?

Drake.

Favorite movie?

“My All American.”

Favorite athlete of all-time?

My favorite athlete has been Demar Derozan since his high school McDonald’s All-American Game.

Favorite sport to watch other than football?

Basketball.
