Texas’ 2020 class now consists of 17 members after the decommitments of Princely Umanmielen, Joshua Eaton and Ethan Pouncey. The state playoffs are just three weeks away. The only UT pledges not playing this weekend are quarterback Hudson Card, safety Xavion Alford and offensive tackle Jaylen Garth; each are out with injuries.

Out of state commits

Two of Texas’ 2020 pledges hail from out of state. Van Fillinger (Utah) and Bijan Robinson (Arizona) are part of state championship contenders. It’s already playoff time for Fillinger and his Draper Corner Canyon teammates. Four-star cornerback Ethan Pouncey has decommitted.
