The Dotted Line: Week 9 guide to watching Texas commitments in the 2020, 2021 classes

Seventeen of Texas’ 19 pledges in the 2020 class are playing on Thursday or Friday as district races shape up throughout the state. The only two commitments not playing this weekend are quarterback Hudson Card and offensive tackle Jaylen Garth, both out with injuries.

Three of Texas’ 2020 pledges in the 2020 class hail from out of state. Van Fillinger (Utah) and Bijan Robinson (Arizona) are part of state championship contenders. It’s already playoff time for Fillinger and his Corner Canyon teammates.
