The 15th-ranked Longhorns travel to TCU on Saturday (2:30 p.m., FOX). The eyes of Texas will be upon …

Ross Blacklock, TCU defensive tackle

Sidelined during the 2018 season by an Achilles injury, Blacklock has made a splash upon his return. Blacklock has recorded 3.5 of TCU’s 11 sacks this season. Texas coach Tom Herman says the 6-4, 305-pound junior is “as good a defensive tackle as we’ll play this year.”  Blacklock’s father, Jimmy, was the first-ever black star on the men’s basketball team at Texas.

Cade Brewer, Texas tight end

Texas has played three tight ends this fall — Brewer, sophomore Reese Leitao and freshman Jared Wiley  — but the junior from Lake Travis is responsible for 10 of the position group’s 11 receptions. In last week’s 50-48 win over Kansas, Brewer set career highs for catches (three) and receiving yards (71). He also had a 51-yard gain that set up a key fourth-quarter score.

Jalen Reagor, TCU receiver

The Big 12 is stocked with talented hands, so Reagor being one of three receivers on the conference’s preseason team says something. The junior’s season started slowly, but he has caught 12 footballs and scored twice over TCU’s last two games. Reagor is also a threat on special teams. Against Kansas on Sept. 28, Reagor returned a punt 73 yards for a touchdown.

Malcolm Roach, Texas defensive end

Roach has started 17 times in his career, a total that is exceeded on the Texas defense by only Brandon Jones’ 30 starts. Roach sat out the first half of the Kansas game because of a targeting penalty that was called the week before, but he made up for lost time by blocking an extra point. Roach’s senior season has consisted of 15 tackles but he is looking for his first sack.
