Three things to know about Tyler Smith, Tulsa football, for the 2022 NFL Draft

Tulsa football offensive lineman Tyler Smith is hoping to cap his career as a Tulsa Golden Hurricane by being selected in the 2022 NFL Draft Thursday through Saturday, April 28-30.

The 2022 NFL Draft begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28. 

Smith, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, joined the Tulsa football program in 2019 as a freshman.

Smith started two games at left tackle during his first season at Tulsa, and played in several others. 

In 2020, Smith started at left tackle in all nine games of the Tulsa football season, and ended it as a Freshman All-America selection.
