The No. 4 Texas women’s swimming team won 13 events in a double dual meet with Florida and Indiana to sweep the competition at the Jamail Swimming Center on Saturday. The Longhorns topped No. 6 Indiana 201-147 and No. 19 Florida 222-126.

The top-ranked men fell to No. 3 Indiana 234-119 and to No. 8 Florida 178-175, notching three wins at the meet.

The wins Saturday extend the women’s streak of meet victories to 15, dating back to the 2016-17 season.

Joanna Evans won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 47.07 seconds for the second fastest time this year. Evans also won the 1,000 freestyle and the 500 freestyle.

Remedy Rule won the 200 butterfly in 1:56.60 for the fourth fastest time this season in the NCAA. Rule won twice in the meet, adding a win in the 100 butterfly.

Quinn Carrozza completed the 200 backstroke in 1:55.99 to record a top-5 time this season.

John Shebat took the men’s 200 individual medley in 1:45.63. That time is the best of the season and good for an NCAA B cut.
