Ten Texas women’s swimmers invited to NCAA Championships

Ten Texas women’s swimmers have qualified for 20 events at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, the school announced Wednesday.

Three Longhorns made the cut in at least three events.

Joanna Evans, Evie Pfeifer and Grace Ariola each qualified for three events.


Remedy Rule, Quinn Carrozza, Claire Adams and Julia Cook each qualified for two events.

Stanford, the two-time defending champions, had 18 swimmers invited to the championships to lead the field.

The No. 2 Longhorns host the NCAA Championships at the Jamail Texas Swimming beginning March 20.

Evie Pfeifer – 500 free, 1650 free, 400 IM
Grace Ariola – 50 free, 100 free, 100 back
Remedy Rule – 100 fly, 200 fly
