With the Big 12 announcing the conference’s 2019 match-ups on Thursday, Texas’ schedule for next year’s season is complete.
The Longhorns will open the 2019 season on Aug. 31 with a home game against Louisiana Tech. The marquee game on UT’s 2019 schedule is a showdown at Royal-Memorial Stadium with LSU on Sept. 7. Two weeks later, Texas is scheduled to open Big 12 play when Oklahoma State visits Austin.
Texas will also host Kansas (Oct. 19), Kansas State (Nov. 9) and Texas Tech (Nov. 29).

The Longhorns will travel to West Virginia (Oct. 5), TCU (Oct. 26), Iowa State (Nov. 16) and Baylor (Nov. 23). Texas and Rice are set to meet at Houston’s NRG Stadium on Sept. 14.
As usual, the Cotton Bowl will host the annual meeting between Oklahoma and Texas. The 114th edition of the Red River Showdown is scheduled for Oct. 12, 2019.
