Three Longhorns football practices will be open to the public next week, coach Mack Brown announced Thursday at the Gridiron Kickoff Classic luncheon.

The practices, to be held at the Denius Fields on Red River Street, will be open on Thursday, Aug. 8, (beginning at 5 p.m.), Friday, Aug. 9, (4:10 p.m.) and Saturday, Aug. 10, (6 p.m.). UT officials suggest that fans park in the Manor Garage.

UT also said that various position groups of players will be available for autographs for a limited period of time after each practice as they leave the field. On Thursday it will be offensive and defensive linemen, and specialists. On Friday it will be running backs, linebackers and tight ends. On Saturday, quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs will sign.

The practices will be closed if bad weather forces them inside the practice bubble, because of space limitations. UT said practice times are subject to change and updates will be posted on MackBrown-TexasFootball.com or on Twitter at @MBTexasFootball.
