Texas lost two defensive line recruits late Tuesday because their position coach is headed to USC.
San Antonio Warren’s Trey Lealaimatafao wasn’t thrilled that defensive tackles coach Bo Davis is leaving for USC. The 6-foot-1-inch, 300-pounder announced on Twitter late Tuesday, “Officially 100% decommitted from Texas.”
Lealaimatafao has offers from a host of other schools, including Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He’s taken recruiting visits to UCLA, Arizona State and Oregon, according to 247sports.com.
Then, Courtney Garnett from New Orleans announced on Twitter: “Texas no longer an option.” He was a 6-2, 280-pound recurit at St. Augustine. He has other offers from Oklahoma and Ohio State.
Also Tuesday, multiple recruiting sites reported that standout Beaumont Ozen cornerback Tony Brown enrolled at Alabama and will attend classes this spring.
