Texas linebacker Steve Edmond issued some positive news Thursday about his lacerated liver injury suffered on Thanksgiving night against Texas Tech.
“I’m finally back 100%,” Edmond tweeted.
Edmond is expected to return for spring football workouts, which are tentatively scheduled to begin sometime after spring break. Edmond, who will be a senior next season, has posted workmanlike numbers in his first three years.
His biggest play as a Longhorn came on Nov. 9 when he made a game-ending interception against West Virginia.
