Women’s tennis to hold walk-on tryouts

The UT women’s tennis team will host walk-on tryouts for interested full-time UT female students on Friday, Sept. 4, scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the Whitaker Tennis Courts.

Players wishing to tryout must be full-time UT students who are enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours of classes this semester. All participants must register in advance by picking up a pre-participation medical screening packet from the Olympic Sports and Compliance office in the North End Zone – 5th floor – at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium.

All forms must be completed and turned in by the end of today.

Participants must provide their own racquets for the tryout and must have proof of and complete the following in order to tryout:

  • a completed physical within the last six months
  • sickle-cell testing
  • valid health insurance card
  • complete online UT compliance forms
