Posted September 5th, 2015
About 90 minutes before kickoff at Notre Dame, Texas got some good news for its future when it landed a commitment from Southlake Carroll 2016 cornerback Obi Eboh.
Eboh is a three-star prospect and the state’s No. 65 prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite ratings. He held 30 scholarship offers, including Oklahoma, Nebraska and Arizona State.
Eboh (6-1, 184 pounds) becomes the ninth member of this class and the first defensive back. The class is ranked seventh in the Big 12 and No. 52 nationally.
