Costly turnovers and penalties against the Longhorns are helping West Virginia extend their lead.

After Texas backup quarterback Tyrone Swoopes fumbled the ball, West Virginia quarterback Skyler Howard completes a 53-yard touchdown pass to Jovon Durante. That play put the Mountaineers up 21-10 with a minute to play in the second quarter.

Texas running back D’Onta Foreman seems to be the only ray of hope for the Horns. The sophomore has 103 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown.
