Where can I track all the Longhorn Olympians? Texas has you covered

The Rio Olympics begin next month and 24 current, and former players as well as coaches from the University of Texas will be there representing seven different countries.

And the Texas athletics department has made it helpful to track all these athletes with their new “Rio Olympic page” on the department’s website.

The site includes the schedule for all the events and lists of the all-time Longhorn Olympians.

Swimming and track and field will be the most Longhorn-filled sports. Team USA track and field team has nine Longhorn athletes or coaches on the team. Meanwhile, Team USA swimming has four Longhorns.

The other countries with Longhorn athletes include The Bahamas (Jamal Wilson and Joanna Evans), Singapore (Joseph Schooling), Venezuela (Jhonattan Vegas), South Africa (Brandon Stone), Mexico (Miguel Reyes Varela) and Jamaica (Chrisann Gordan).

The Rio Olympics begin Aug. 5.
