BREAKING: There’s a new Texas football ping pong leader and Charlie can’t stop laughing
Posted August 16th, 2016
Freshman quarterback Shane Buechele has lost it. He’s no longer the leader of the Longhorns.
No, no, no, it’s not what you think. He’s still in the running for the job.
Buechele, who had been the Longhorn ping pong champion for an undisclosed amount of time, was defeated by sophomore linebacker Breckyn Hager. And coach Charlie Strong is more than amused by this development:

Hager, the son of one of the greatest linebackers in Texas history, takes over the lofty position as ping pong champion, but with the talent that Strong continues to bring in, there’s no telling how long his reign will be.
