Posted September 7th, 2016

Texas took a huge leap in the latest odds released by Bovada on Wednesday.

According to the sports book, the Longhorns now have the ninth-best odds to win the College Football Playoff National Championship after knocking off Notre Dame. Texas is now listed at 22/1, after being a 66/1 favorite entering the season.

Texas, which now ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press Top 25, is right behind Houston (18/1) and just ahead of Oklahoma (25/1) after the Cougars defeated the Sooners last weekend.

Defending champion Alabama is the favorite to win the title again at 4/1, ahead of Florida State (6/1), Clemson (13/2) and Ohio State (13/2).
