It’s a special day for Bevo XV, as the Texas mascot made his first appearance at the legendary Red River Showdown in Dallas.

He was up bright and early to make the journey to the Cotton Bowl. Bevo was far from the only steer at the Texas State Fair, but he was the only one with a ticket to the Texas-Oklahoma game.

Unfortunately, the Longhorns weren’t able to get Bevo a win on his Red River Showdown debut.
