Posted November 16th, 2016
What does a 21-month-old Longhorn steer do with a giant greeting card? Well, we’re about to find out.
Longhorn Network has created a giant card for fans to celebrate Texas mascot Bevo’s 100th anniversary, and it will be presented to Bevo XV during the Texas’ Nov. 25 game against TCU at Royal-Memorial Stadium.
Longhorns fans will have three chances to write their own message on the card, starting 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, during Charlie Strong’s weekly radio show at Pluckers (2222 Rio Grande, Austin, TX 78705).
The card will also be at the Longhorns’ volleyball match against Kansas State from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 19 at Gregory Gym, and at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 at the Longhorn Network set inside Royal-Memorial Stadium. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m., and the card will be presented to Bevo sometime during the game.
