The helmet decal is part of a larger celebration paying tribute to the history and tradition that has become an integral part of the football program’s identity. In addition to the helmet decals, Bevo XV will be presented with a giant greeting card sometime during the game.

Texas has been celebrating 100 years of Bevo all year long, but keep an eye out for some extra festivities if you’re headed to the game. After all, it is almost 100 years to the day since the first Bevo made his very first appearance during a win over Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Day in 1916.
