Social reaction: Texas celebrates as Longhorns make annual trip to Final Four

The Texas volleyball team is heading back to the Final Four.

Following a sweep of Creighton on Saturday evening, Texas is bound for Columbus, Ohio. Texas (27-4) will meet Nebraska (31-2) on Thursday evening in the national semifinals. Stanford (25-7) and Minnesota (29-4) will play for the other spot in the NCAA title match.

There will be plenty of time this week to dissect the match-up between Nebraska and Texas, two teams that played for last year’s championship. But first, let’s take a look at how a team reacts when it returns to the Final Four for a fifth consecutive season.


First, there was the on-court celebration:

The Longhorns then celebrated with some of the 4,336 fans in Gregory Gym.
