Update: Bimage had already committed to Herman at Houston, and after Herman left UH for Texas, Bimage opened up his recruitment. It didn’t take long for him to follow Herman to Austin. Bimage decommited from UH two days before Christmas and then pledged to Texas on Jan. 6. He played defensive end in high school, but is expected to make the position switch to inside linebacker in college. He’s big and athletic and has experience at linebacker during summer camps and in practice. That experience at end always makes him a candidate to spin back to the line of scrimmage if the move to linebacker doesn’t work out. Bimage is a physical player with an ideal frame. If he can show the speed to play sideline-to-sideline, he could end up being the steal of the class.
