WATCH: Yancy McKnight, ‘Big Squat Wednesday’ and Texas football’s new workout regimen

Texas football coach Tom Herman called new Longhorn strength and conditioning coach Yancy McKnight his soulmate. And like all soulmates on Valentine’s Day, it’s good to show them some love.
On Tuesday, a Longhorn Network feature did just that, showcasing McKnight’s workout with a sneak peek into Texas’ new training regiment, including the debut of “Big Squat Wednesday” where Texas players focus on what McKnight calls the “king of king lifts,” the back squat.
