WATCH: When Texas Hall of Famer Eric Metcalf amazed football fans

Posted February 21st, 2017

Longhorn great Eric Metcalf is being inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame on Tuesday. During his 13-year career in the NFL, Metcalf became one of the greatest kick returners in the history of football.
At Texas, he was the Southwest Conference Player of the Year in 1987 and was the NCAA Long Jump champion in 1986 and 1988.
Not sold? Here are a collection of Eric Metcalf highlights to remember:
First, the Heisman promo video (keep watching and you’ll get an awesome music montage):

Not one, but 2 punt returns for a TD against the Steelers:

Metcalf makes the Houston Oilers, New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati Bengals (Lee Johnson, ouch) look silly:

A look at his rookie season (The Bengals get the “wiggle-and-jiggle” move put on them):

Oh, no, Scott Norwood kicked to Eric Metcalf (and a flea-flicker)!

Jeff George, 1990s Falcons, and “you hate to give Eric Metcalf a second chance”
