Offensive tackle Reese Moore becomes Texas’ fifth 2018 commit

The Longhorns continued a strong weekend on the recruiting trail by gaining the commitment of Seminole offensive tackle Reese Moore.
The 6-foot-6, 265-pound prospect was a first-team all-district tight end as a junior and projects to offensive tackle in college. He is a three-star player and becomes the fifth commit of Texas’ 2018 class, joining wide receiver Justin Watkins, linebacker Byron Hobbs and quarterbacks Casey Thompson and Cameron Rising.
Texas hopes to sign at least three offensive linemen for the 2018 class. Moore takes up one offensive tackle spot. The Longhorns want another offensive tackle and an interior prospect by national signing day. Frisco Wakeland’s Rafiti Ghirmai is the top remaining target at offensive tackle. Allen’s Trey Stratford is an in-state option at guard.
