Collin Johnson’s next trick involves a beach, a backflip and a football

Posted May 20th, 2017

It’s no wonder Collin Johnson and Shane Buechele are developing such a good partnership.

Much like his quarterback, it appears the budding Texas wide receiver does some of his best work while wearing swim trunks. A video posted by Johnson on Friday night shows him catching a football on the beach while doing a backflip.

The most impressive part is the ease at which he does it. No big deal, just a backflip while making a one-handed catch in one fluid motion. His hat doesn’t even budge.

It almost makes you believe he could pull this off in coverage, although we doubt Tom Herman would be a fan. In fairness, he’s already come close. A couple of times.
