Which Longhorn wears No. 37? Junior P Michael Dickson, who has set a school record in each of the past two seasons. No UT punter has punted more than Dickson did in 2015 (77 times), and no UT punter has had a better average than Dickson did last year (47.4 YPP). Dickson wore No. 13 during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, but Texas fans have fond memories of his new number. Nate Boyer, the Green-Beret-turned-deep-snapper, once wore No. 37.

Who also wears No. 37? TCU K Cole Bunce (61.9 yards per kickoff in 2016); Baylor DB Tyler Jaynes (seven tackles)

Fun fact about No. 37: In 1998, Ricky Williams rushed 37 times for a Texas-record 350 yards against Iowa State in 1998. The second-best mark in the UT history books is Roosevelt Leaks’ 342-yard effort against SMU in 1973. Leaks also logged 37 carries in his record-setting game.
