Texas made a stop through Georgia during its recruiting rounds and extended four offers to 2019 prospects from Grayson High School. The Longhorns pulled a similar trick last week when it offered a trio of prospects at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florida.

While at Grayson, Texas extended an offer to 5-star outside linebacker Owen Pappoe, 4-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris, 4-star linebacker Kevin Harris and 4-star wide receiver Kenyon Jackson. Grayson High School is a hotbed of talent, featuring over 12 juniors with a 247Sports Composite.
The Longhorns haven’t been quick to offer in the 2019 or 2020 class. Texas only holds one commitment in 4-star dual-threat quarterback Roschon Johnson of Port Neches-Groves. Tom Herman’s program has only offered 61 players, per 247Sports. For comparison sake, Oklahoma has offered 109 players and Alabama has offered 144.
