Four-star athlete Makiya Tongue includes Texas among top schools

Texas made the final three for four-star athlete Makiya Tongue. The Louisiana-native included the Longhorns alongside Georgia and Arizona State. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound four-star prospect can play wide receiver or outside linebacker and holds 25 offers. He’s the No. 15-ranked athlete in the country.

Texas offered Tongue on Feb. 22. He recently took official visits to Georgia and Arizona State with the Bulldogs emerging as the favorite, per the 247Sports Crystal Ball. Texas also made the final three for Louisiana cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. before he picked LSU.
