Where were you when Cameron Dicker kicked the game-winning field goal in the Red River Showdown?
It’s one of those moments Texas fans will remember for a long, long time. The freshman from Lake Travis booted a 40-yard kick to finish of a classic win over Oklahoma, 48-45 on Saturday at the Cotton Bowl. The Sooners had rallied from 21 points down in the fourth quarter, but Sam Ehlinger led the Longhorns down the field and set up Dicker in the closing seconds.

Of course, Dicker isn’t the first Texas kicker from the Austin area to nail a big kick. After he split the uprights, Texas ex and Westlake alum Justin Tucker made sure to give the youngster some love.
