FOLLOW LIVE: No. 19 Texas scores late to beat Texas Tech 41-34

Posted November 10th, 2018

Coming off back-to-back losses, Texas badly needs a win Saturday night as it plays Texas Tech at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock.

The No. 19-ranked Longhorns (6-3, 4-2) are still chasing a spot in the Big 12 championship game, despite losses in consecutive weeks at Oklahoma State and last week against West Virginia, when the Mountaineers scored a two-point conversion in the final minute to win 42-41 at Royal-Memorial Stadium.

The Red Raiders (5-4, 3-3) will be without starting quarterback Alan Bowman, who suffered a recurrence of a partially collapsed lung in their loss to Oklahoma. For live updates, photos and analysis from American-Statesman reporters Brian Davis, Danny Davis and Kirk Bohls, check out our game day page by following the link below.
